Aging Gracefully...

I cannot stress how important I think this book is to society as a whole. It is easy to understand and well written with some repetition for emphasis. Even those who are not presently part of the Silver Generation will, barring unfortunate circumstances, continue to age. This book will help prepare them for a long and fulfilling life. I give Aging Gracefully my highest recommendation and consider it a "must read."

TIPS FOR AGING

It’s important to keep your mind young as we age. I endorse the following recommendations from the National Institute of Health:

• Don't make rash decisions.

• Give yourself time to think.

• Write things down.

• Memory can be fallible for people of any age.

• Structure your day and your surroundings to help you remember things.

• Imagine a future action in as much detail as you can.

• Keep your brain active with activities that require mental effort, such as reading.

• Stay physically active.
